STUDEX NOSE & EAR PIERCING 

5-16 YEAR OLDS MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY PARENT/GUARDIAN AND A CONSENT FORM SIGNED 

The Whole procedure is completed without touching the pre-sterilised studs, of your choice, which are packed in separate sterile cartridge’s.   The Studex system’s which I use is Health Authority approved and that UK Law states that components used in ear piercing must be approved and disposable. I am North Wiltshire District Council approved and registered.  Registration No: LN000867

You must NOT have your nose/ears pierced if you have any of the following:

Broken skin, lumps, moles, bruising, viral, bacteria, fungal infections, scar tissue (as this will not heal easily and is harder to pierce cleanly), in the nose and ear lobe area only.  Cardio-vascular problems, dysfunction of the nervous system, diabetes (poor healing capacity), epilepsy, hepatitis and  HIV. 

EARS

You have a choice of stainless steel, 9ct gold, 18ct gold, titanium and 24ct gold plated.  In novelty designs, shapes, gemstones, balls, cubic zirconia and Hoops.   

The healing process will take approx. 6 weeks for the lobes and 12 weeks for the cartilage.

 I must make you understand that cartilage should not be pierced as if it becomes infected it has little blood supply so the infection can be difficult to treat.  Infected cartilage can result in a loss of tissue from the ear pinna.  A consent form must be signed giving me permission for cartilage piercing to be undertaken. 

NOSE

You have a choice of  polished titanium (silver) or champagne titanium (gold).  Flat faced, ball, ruby, crystal or sapphire. 

The healing process will take approx. 8 weeks for the nose.
