SUGARING
“ The ancient art of removing
unwanted hair, naturally & gently”
WHAT IS SUGARING?
It is a method of hair removal originating
from the ancient Egyptians. It has survived the test of time and
still widely used by Arab women today. Sugaring has been improved and
updated over the years to become one of the most effective and
efficient methods of removing unwanted hair. As well as removing
unwanted hair, it also removes dead skin cells leaving your skin soft,
smooth and healthy looking. You can be sugared almost anywhere!
WHY IS IT CALLED SUGARING?
It comes from the
sugar paste that is used to remove the hairs. Sugar paste contains
only natural ingredients, the main ingredient being glucose, hence the
name “Sugaring”.
WHY IS SUGARING BECOMING SO
POPULAR?
With regular treatment you will find the
re-growth of your hairs slower, finer and sparser than before. Also
sugaring has never harmed anyone with skin complaints such as eczema
in fact, in some cases it has improved their condition.
AFTER YOUR FIRST SUGARING TREATMENT
You may find you
can feel a small amount of hair stubble if you have been previously
shaving or using depilatory creams. Both these methods disrupt hair
growth so making hair more difficult to remove until the natural
growth pattern is restored. This usually occurs after 2 treatments.
SKIN THAT SHOULD NOT BE SUGARED
I cannot treat
broken, sunburnt or damaged skin, new scar tissue or hair growing from
moles. Please let me know if, there is a possibility you have a skin
disorder before sugaring commences.
